T Levels will change. The specification gets revised, and when it does, the lessons are rewritten to match it. What does not change is what we owe the students sitting it: the best revision there is, right up to the last paper. Not a company with a mission statement. A promise with an end date.
What that means, in practice
Specification first.
Every lesson is written against the document you are assessed on, point by point. If it isn't in the specification, it isn't in the app. Nothing off syllabus, nothing missed.
Checked by the people sitting it.
Students on the same specifications you study, with the same exam dates, read every lesson before you do and send back the ones that are wrong. We know what is missing from the revision out there because we went looking for it too.
Marked the way the examiner marks.
Practice questions are written against the real papers and mark schemes rather than copied from them, and your answers are marked point by point against the same scheme an examiner would use. The same marks, for the same reasons, so nothing about the exam is a surprise.
How a lesson gets to you
Written once. Read by everyone who has to sit it.

It starts with the specification.
Our internal tool builds every lesson from past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports. Only the specification decides what a lesson covers. Everything else feeds the writing; nothing else shapes it.

A student editor reads every lesson.
A subject editor on the same course reads the lesson against the specification, with the power to send it back. Some lessons are read by two. Not a proofread: a check that every point is right, and every point is there.

The subject head confirms it.
The head of the subject reads what the editors passed and signs it off. Nothing goes further without that signature.

Verified, then published.
Only then does a lesson reach the app. Every lesson you open has been through all of this, and when the specification changes, it goes through it again.
What we will not do
There will be no advertising in T-SkiLL, and your data will never be sold to anyone. There is no timer on your revision, because revision is not a race and you are not behind. And there are no lessons the specification does not ask for, however good they might look on a homepage.
Written down on purpose, and for good. If any of these ever appear, the mission has been abandoned and you should say so, loudly.
